In the case that your webpage is not displaying certain content, such as search bar or news articles etc, it maybe a case of your work PC not having the correct Internet Browser Proxy settings.
To Manually resolve this please perform the following.
Firstly to check that your PC isn't using an Old Proxy, please Check your Browser settings, Chrome & Edge are similar to check as per below.
1. In the browsers for both EDGE & CHROME, click on Settings Menu Icon in top right hand corner of browser & go to Settings
EDGE:
CHROME:
2. EDGE go to System and performance & click on 'Open your computer's proxy settings'
CHROME go to System & click on 'Open your Computer's proxy settings
3. This will open the PC's Proxy Settings, Ensure that the 'Automatically detect settings' is enabled & that the 'Use setup script' is disabled
4. To ensure that your PC receives the correct Group Policy Proxy Settings, in the Search Bar (bottom left hand corner), type cmd & hit Enter or click Open (as Command Prompt should appear after typing cmd)
5. In the Command Prompt window, Type gpupdate /force & hit Enter
Your PC should now have the correct Proxy Settings set on your Company PC and Webpages should function as intended. Please submit a Support Ticket if you still experience issues.
